Dr. William Salling
Dr. Salling, a native of the Wilmington area, attended the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, graduating in 1969. Immediately after graduation, he began practicing in the Durham area and remained there until 1987. Dr. Salling also served as part-time faculty at the UNC Dental School. In 1987, he moved back to Wilmington and started the family dentistry practice we know today. Dr. Salling is a member of the Tri-County Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Salling has a special interest in cosmetic, restorative and prosthetic dentistry with an emphasis on esthetics.
Dr. Frederick Bryan Tate
Dr. Tate, a native of Elizabethtown, NC, attended UNC Chapel Hill and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1992. He continued on at the UNC School of Dentistry, graduating in 1997. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of Computerized Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pinnacle Study Club. He is also a member of the Tri-County Dental Society, where he has served as the Secretary, Vice-president and President. Dr. Tate has a special interest in CEREC restorations (esthetic porcelain restorations fabricated in a single visit in the office), implant restorations, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. James Salling
Dr. James A. Salling, raised in the Wrightsville Beach area, received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He then graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Salling completed a one-year advanced education residency, earning a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study from Boston University. Dr. Salling is also a current member of the American Dental Association. His interests include porcelain crowns and veneers, endodontic therapy, and implant restorations. Dr. Salling is available for new patients, emergency appointments, and anyone seeking comprehensive dental care.
